 My girl friend and I love playing in the snow so we headed out to the park right after the first worthy snow of the winter. After she jumped on the swings a little coercing had her launching off the swings into a snow drift... the result was captured on camera. She loves me so she puts up with my photography obsession

Took original photo, duplicated the layer, bottom layer I converted to B&W. Increased contrast slightly and lowered sharpness slightly. Used the eraser tool with a soft edge to remove the colored background around subject leaving her in color. Increased saturation of blue and cyan slightly. Cropped slightly putting subject in top right corner to move away from center. Added a 50 px black line around outside.

Great capture. Nice cropping as well, I like how the snow is pristine, you can't see the footprints leading to the swing. Or did you make her spend the night there? ;)
