 When the Humpty Dumpty ornament slid off its branch on the Christmas tree and shattered on the floor, my wife started to tear up. I, on the other hand, thought it would make a good subject for the Bits & Pieces challenge. I took the picture by natural light with no flash. I did minimal editing – cropping, and adjusting levels. I might have done more if I only knew what I was doing.

Certainly fits the challenge perfectly. Just a pity about the glare reflecting of the surface on the left of the image. The set up could have been better if some more thought had been put into this. Also quite grainy in the foreground and focus could have been sharper.

Very seasonal however the shot looks a bit grainy, perhaps a lighting issue?
