love that the girl looks like she's laughing at a joke the giant gingerbread man has told .. i also like the way his arms are crossed .. he has quite a santa clause sort'v feel for some reason .. i can imagine he's just about to say 'ho ho ho' .. !!
the lighting and the colours are all excellent and the focus too .. the depth of field is perfect .. the focus on your subjects, and the background still recognizable but not taking away from your main story .. :)

| Very fun photograph! The giant gingerbread man does indicate holiday cookie goodness, and the positions of both the gingerbread man and the cheerleader make me think it's quite cold out - very wintery despite no snow! Very good choice to capture this with your subjects out of the direct sunshine - this gives you nice, balanced light. You also did a great job of getting your main subject in very sharp focus! |

Very funny and entertaining pic of Gingy from Shrek, right? ;-) It's an interesting story here, because traditionally mascots are mute and not supposed to talk. But sure looks like Gingy is chatting up the cheerleader. I like the tilt of Gingy's head towards the cheerleader, and the red of the mouth draws immediate attention. Like how the blue of his eyebrows almost match her outfit! The lighting is very good, if Gingy had been too much in the sunlight it would have made him look a little flat.
Very appealing shot overall, and even if it wasn't meant to be funny, it is, in a very sweet and innocent way. Good work.

| I have no idea what the story is here, Gingerbread Man I presume? The girl's a cheerleader? Gingerbread men rank cheerleader girlfriends? Mascots rule? I have no idea, but the image makes me smile. The light's quite lovely, and the layers of sharpness are exactly where you need them. Good work! |
