Best water drop picture ever on DPC. Great tones, light, DoF, grain ... everything really. Plus there's imagination involved, for both you and for the viewer.
J, this is just superb. Thank you.

Beautiful abstract image. I love the black and white and the focus. From the thumb I thought that it was stamens in the rain, but once again, you've produced an exquisite image from a mundane subject.

Drip, drip, drop
Little April shower
Beating a tune
As you fall all around

Drip, drip, drop
Little April shower
What can compare
To your beautiful sound

Sorry, I watched Bambi today and this reminded me of that song. LOL!

Ths one is great - dark and abstract with hints of Edward Scissorhands

Looks like stamen of a flower with dew drops - the abstract nature is really compelling - strangely emotive.

I like it that I had no idea what it was & liked it, & even after I read your notes I still liked it for those lovely alien abstract great light qualities. Well done. The most ordinary everyday objects can seem to take on the weight of unexpected discovery when done like this. Good for you!

Great in b&w. The reflections/refractions (?) in the drops look like stylized birds.
