 Lighting: window light. This is one of a series I'm doing on roses. Trying to avoid cliche. In this image I was trying to achieve a sense of "heaviness" and a slightly surreal feeling.

Superb colours and texture. Great DOF. The empty petal-less grey patch bottom left a bit distracting.

lovely!! beautiful tones and shading. I'd really like to see the original on this to know how much was processing and how much was original. I'd love to try some shots like this. :)
