Good use of playground equipment. Might have been even more dramatic with a longer exposure/more blur, but hard to know where to draw the line... |

I wonder how many people missed the fact that you were on this thing too. Good job. |

Definately motion. I like the sharp focus on the girl and how you have the motion blurr in the background, rather than the other way around. Great color and lighting conditions. Angle and framing/cropping are good. I also like that you have included just enough of the merry go round so we can "understand" the photo. Good luck in the challenge. |

creative. i like the framing with the two yellow handrails at the bottom and the tree and grass in the background going by. it would even have been better if you could have stretched the exposure longer to make the background spinning even more. i would have liked to have seen the girl not squinting. nice shot! |

Commentary:
This was a great idea with decent execution. Personally I would have turned her body in the direction of the roundy round and put her closer to the edge of the picture on the opposite side of the go round direction. Then turn her head toward the Camera to the point where you can see one ear fully and barley see the other. This gives direction and the full front shot like this is used in portraits for mainly men. Since you made this a bit of a Portrait I will comment accordingly. Never want to show the back of the hands in a portrait. That adds whats known as static and kills the lines of the shot. Another thing you want to do is break the wrist. You almost did that on the hand that is on the bar. A full front is a difficult shot to compose right. I would love to see this shot the way I described. I would bet you would be surprised.

Nice trick. I think I would have cropped higher too eliminate the roundy-round :-) |

Really good use of panning (if that'd be considered panning) the picture tells a bit of a story, well done. |

Good concept (surprised this is the only roundabout based image I've seen so far in this challenge). That said, it would probably be a bit better if the woman wasn't so central in the image. (Use of rule of thirds, blah, blah, etc.) |
