The S60 was my first foray into digital photography, and I bought it for a trip I took to the wedding of a very dear friend's daughter in Wheatley, Ontario. This shot is a barn I saw while playing tourist.
As I recall, I splurged and bought two 1/2 gig cards (about $40.00 each), and was astonished that I could get around 900 pictures on each card. How could I ever take that many pictures! Of course, I didn't know any better, and was shooting .jpg, not RAW, and couldn't believe I would ever want anything bigger that a 6x4 print. When I told people that the S60 had 5 megapixels, it elicited a respectful, "Wow!" How times have changed. |

| A lovely shot, full of great colours. And it goes to show that equipment isn't everything: this surpasses many shots taken with newer, higher specced gear. |

I liked the story you related in the comments-
Reminds me of when I first got my Fuji, which had 9.1mpix, and my friends were amazed as well. I remembered using an old Fuji that had 2.3 and thinking it was the cat's meow :)
Interesting roof on this... the colors almost form like a secondary composition within the shot. |
