 So does anyone but me know about this place. It is Granite Hot Springs Wyoming. We camped there ever year for a week in the summertime growing up. It really is one of the most beautiful places on earth. This photo doesn't do it justice.

I tried to save it as much as I could, but this picture was not taken in RAW and it was before I discovered DPC and even knew how to use manual modes on my camera. Hopefully we will make it back there this summer and I can get some real shots of its awesome beauty.

Editing:
Opened the Jpeg in Photoshop RAW did some exposure adjustments.
Opened it to photoshop did some levels and saturation adjustments.
Used Topaz In Focus to sharpen it up a bit.

Haven't been quite that far up into Wyo, but I'm hoping to make a trip through the Wind River range this summer. Wyoming is one of the places that a lot of people don't know much about, and it makes for great trips if you're not into cities. Gets a bit wicked in the winter though lol
Nice capture of the scene though; I particularly like how the trees really close in on all sides, enveloping the viewer.

I think you did a great job with it. I'm having the same issue as I got back and try to edit 4MP shots taken with an old Olympus I bought in 2002. It's tough, but some of them are turning out ok.

You've got such a nice composition in this image, with the stream leading up through the image.
