 Well, Did I mention I am a science teacher? My First thought was to use the Mr. Potato Head I bought for the potato challenge but never used, and a potato clock (same chemistry) but I thought the Still Life would be more ascetic.

And for any of you wondering, yes, they really are batteries, converting chemical energy to electricity, just instead of battery acid I used Lemon Juice.

I have learned the hard way that creativity and a 100 people voting you a five leaves you with a score of five, so I have no idea how this will do. I thought my Valentines challenge was pretty original, but I guess that only gets you so far. Regardless, if I have to define a style, I would rather do off-beat low-scoring photos than mainstream. I just don't have the equipment, such as proper lighting setup to shoot a nice still life!

The black background makes this a standout. Also great focus on the fruit. I can almost smell the lemons!
