 These vines cover one side of an abandoned building that sits adjacent to a local shopping area. The shutter on the left was originally attached to a window on the floor above and fell this past winter.

This is clearly about nature in its raw form, far removed from the "pretty" images people sometimes have in mind when they think of nature pictures, but it speaks to me. I've used this building for challenge shots several times but I suspect its days may be numbered, as the area is slated for renovation.

Looks more rural than urban to me, but nature has a way of infiltrating anything manmade eventually.

This image lacks critters, so this may get overlooked in the voting, but this one has all the goods. The subtle colors are beautifully handled, the framing is great and the textures are amazing. Top 3 for me
