I find it funny you didn't win on your own style, but this is great anyway |

LOL. Joey entered the challenge with a picture of Manny in it. Came in 39th. |

He's been grown to a man (from a boy)... and what's with the tattoo? I didn't know he had one, or I wasn't paying attention to i t.
Two masters, one photo... and I am honored to follow this one as 40th place :)

I marked this picture high without ever thinking that "The Librodo" himself will participate (not the highest mark, but the 11th the way it appears when I order the photos by my marks - and the same mark as 7 other pictures).
I was pretty sure though that I wrote in my comment something that does not appear, or did I drop it by mistake(?):
I wished that a touch of his forehead was cropped, something like 1/8" of the way the photo appears on the screen!
The fact that it was scored 40 out of over 90 makes me ponder over the elusive reasoning of the vote of the majority in the ARTS.
There were plenty of really authentic photos that I found exceptional and in this respect superior to the Joey L picture.
I will try to go deeply into this for my own benefit, but as I look now and arrived at this image that I liked a lot, I have to say that we shall never underestimate the power of a free lunch or a beautiful woman, a pretty pose with promising eyes or optimistic colors.

You indeed entered something quite different. Fabulous image. I should have know it was yours from the eyes alone. This is the first time I've ever seen a picture of Joey, so that wouldn't have helped :-) |

Ha... this totally works! And the style of the photo is somewhere between Joey Lawrence's and Manny's style... Love it. |

A nine from me... what a beautiful portrait... and in the style of Joey L and Librodo... I'd never noticed the merging styles before. |

Interesting choices for you to go with. A guy instead of a girl. Muted tones instead of vibrant colors. And even with the "veil", you chose one with no color or distinct pattern. And yet it still has your fingerprints all over it Manny. I am looking forward to seeing how you fare against all of us copycats. |

Hmmm... this photo is quite different... from others...
a bit of cyan in highlights. Looks like somebody really catch the style of Master ;)))
And this man really looks like Joey L.
Sir Manny? ;) |

Yaaay. Another male model. Thought I was the only one. Nicely done, although the eyes might have used just a bit more brightening. It might be a bit colorless for a Librodo, but it's a very strong image. |

Effect on eyes look great. His expression, body art and the overall effect due to processing are good.
There is a slight halo in the background where the veil ends and background starts. And also his skin (on either side of his nose) looks a lot unnatural. On my monitor, it looks almost like made out of some kinda flour (for some reason).
I would say you have made a great conceptual portait with Joey L. At the same time, I feel this could have been top-notch with that kinda opportunity to shoot Joey.

My guess is that this is Manny's shot. Probably since I have both of you on Facebook and know that Joey was there with you. Not the usually Librado but a great portrait for sure! |
