 THE IMAGE: Well it was an honour and a challenge to take a picture emulating the work of one of my favourite photographers in the world, the great Manny Librodo. This is Abegail, who is a Philippines girl in our church, and an amazing young lady who photographs so well.

I used two flouro constant light heads and a warm backlight. I thought the green worked really well with her skin. It was hard to choose from the 200 or so images, but while I had better photos, this one seems to be more in Manny's style.

THE EDIT: Not a lot really. A layer mask with lens blur, cloned out a stray hair on her face. Some colour adjustment including a bit of a saturation boost adjustment mask for the bottom left hand corner where her arm is. A little sharpening. The image straight out of the D300s was good really.

THE PREDICTION: I reckon this will be a tough challenge as there will be many amazing images. 6.4?????

the light in her face is a bit uneven and it cast unpleasant shadows in her face. but i like your colors. 6/10

i love the effects of that light green stuff.. but think it would be better if you retouched and or maybe played with the colors and the skin tone..

I like the use of OOF in this one, the expression in her face, the way her skin looks.
