|A mallard drake coming in to land on a quiet patch of water near a dock that was a nice, well worn-in yellow. So hope it helps to offset the drake and not overwhelm him!
Presque'Ile, just south of Trenton Ontario, is a major migratory route for all kinds of waterfowl. Ryan and I saw and shot Buffleheads, Goldeneyes, Trumpeter and Mute swans, common species of duck like the Mallard, and a few other waterbirds a little trickier to identify. We also saw many seagulls, but they came in handy...we used them as flying white cards! :-)
