not clearly in motion

Red-eye reduction is key when using the flash on people/animals.

Cute cats. Hard to figure out what motion was stopped. May want to try to paly with your angles.

No motion stoped

did it take 354 shots to get this? hard work!

Could not have seen the motion without the title. Even so, it's difficult to imagine the action by looking at the picture.

I love it when cats wrestle like this. I know it isn't easy to avoid but the red eye on the white cat kind of takes away from the picture. Otherwise it is a cute photo.

This one just doesn't grab me for some reason.
04/18/2002 01:31:00 AM
They look like they are playing not fighting
04/17/2002 11:48:00 PM
i hate cats

I like it! Only suggestion would be to back up a bit and get more of the cats in the picture, but you got enough to tell what is going on.

Redeye, the bane of cat and dog photographers... good focus though.
04/17/2002 04:21:00 PM
like the lighting - no harsh flash shadows

So that's what a cat looks like still. I don't think mine ever is:-)

heehe these guys are so cute
04/16/2002 05:06:00 PM
the picture by itself does not say cat fight, they could just as well be sleeping, would rate higher if it were a more interesting composition

A cute shot, but the carpet is a little distracting.

Someone's not very happy.... nice kitty
04/15/2002 10:22:00 PM
I like the suggestion of a yin-yang in the composition...

Bad kitty! This is a great photo. I would have liked to see more of the face of the cats.
04/15/2002 01:21:00 PM
Darn red-eye! Nice picture
04/15/2002 11:55:00 AM
Redeye!
04/15/2002 09:34:00 AM
That red-eye is evil! Whole shot seems to have a pinkish cast, or have you dyed the white cat ? :)

These are cute cats. I like to photograph my cat as well. My personal interpretation of a "stopped motion" challenge is to take something that is moving and freeze it in time so it appears to be standing still. In order to accomplish this, I believe that the moving subject of the photograph should be moving at a rapid pace. I'm sure these cats are not sitting still but my impression is that they could be. I don't FEEL motion in this photo.

Did my white kitty get out and go visit you? color is good and subject very cute.
