Greetings from the Critique Club
I was trying to write this critique without reading any of the other comments, but that was quite hard to do. Having read one of the comments, I'm not sure I can really add anything extra that would be useful as I think he has hit the nail on the head. The composition is awkward, there is nothing really to draw the eye in. I think the idea in general was a good one, but it misses somewhere along the way.
But for me, I think the biggest problem lies with the B&W conversion. I think it could do with a boost in exposure and brightness to make it "pop". I know it's quite noisy too, but a light application of some noise reduction software would help this.
Overall, I think it's not a bad image, and probably scored round about where I would have expected it to. Had I voted in this challenge I'm sure I would have given it a 5. Although, if the B&W was a bit more interesting, this may have gone up to a 6.
