Greetings from the Critique Club
Where to start. Well, I have to confess I only gave you a 5 for this image. Whilst I think it is a very fine travel photograph, it does not meet my personal definition of contemporary fine art photography. As far as travel photography goes though, this is wonderful. An excellent moment captured. I do however find the contrast and saturation to be a bit pumped up which spoils it a bit.
Overall a nicely done travel photo, but not really contemporary fine art. I think you knew that already since you did in fact comment as such in your photographer's notes.

Excellent travel photo (not so much contemporary art). A bit oversaturated, but effective. I love this subject! |

Personally, I would have cropped this tighter, cut off right under the feet so that the stool/crate isn't in the picture. I find it to be pretty distracting, and a tighter crop would still give enough context to be effective. I think you could have scored MUCH higher with the tighter crop.
I love the processing, and I LOVE the upper half of this picture. The same smug expression on both rider and cow is just too priceless. 8 |

Poses are entirely too perfect. The processing is a bit too dark and muddy though. |
