 straighten slightly, crop, resize, levels, boost shadow detail, slight hue adjustment, unsharp mask, save for web.

lake simcoe. there was a christmas tree stuck in the ice about 100-150 ft from shore. i don't think the ice was very thick, it was raining that day and got quite warm.

Is that ice? very neat image, love the strong horizontal nature of the frozen bits, and how the background feels like impending doom. I wish the tree wasn't so orange, it'd look awesome in a nice creamy bluegreen tone.

OK, back for commenting and a second good look. First this made me laugh...then look at it...then really think about it, and smile. So unexpected, to see such a sight. LOVE it though, bumping from a 9 to a 10, just because it's so cool. And weird. LOL.
