 was working on a drug bust barbie but couldn't get the handcuffs,coke and face all in the same picture. Seemed like to much for a macro. This was the last I took in the series and by that time I was just having fun and playing around. The background is salt.
In the raw converter, I desaturated about 50%, didn't really have to do much else. In psp I got rid of some specks on her face and cropped.

This is a fantastic angle and I love the green colour of her dress really adds to this photo

Just came across this - figured you needed another comment after 3 years. :) Love the perspective and colors on this, and great choice of focus. You've made an ordinary kitschy object quite extraordinary, here.

Nice doll picture. They should actually make Barbie dolls a challenge. I think a shot like this would do pretty well. Great job.

nice portrait of a barbie - desaturated it feels nostalgic, and the interesting composition (from above) gives her personality. Nice subtle lighting. Nice use of DOF as well. I might crop out that bit of hair in the corner - crop a bit off the left? 8

This is a unique take on the challenge, and I absolutely LOVE it. I would frame this and hang it on my wall if it were mine! The lighting is so nice. And the subject is so refreshing amongst all the icky bugs! ;)

I've never seen a Barbie photographed so well. Its kind of spooky because it almost looks like a very real person! Great angle and focus. ~10
