I stopped counting baby Praying Mantises when I got to 70 ;-) They were all over one of the shrubberies at the edge of my yard that day. I've gone back to check and found fewer and fewer the past couple of days. Either they have travelled to other parts of the yard or not all of them are destined to make it to adulthood. Betting on the latter.
Had the 36mm and 20mm extension tubes on and used diffused fill flash.
PP - cropped, blurred background more, levels, white balance, increased saturation on red-orange and shifted it redder, burnt pupils slightly, increased contrast, resized, sharpened, added border. |
