Run up the hill behind my house to be there in time for the sunrise - I NEED TO GET FIT AGAIN... I almost died!

Manual blend of 4 images. 3 for the sky. 1 for the ground.

Various layers and masks with different blending modes to try and give it a realistic look. I hope it works...

Oh and to be honest this is probably just over 100m from my house. My house is down the slope on the left. Seeing as others entering this challenge were using a tent / caravan which was deemed their "house" I thought a shot of just more than 100m from my house wouldnt be the end of the world :-)

Haha - I just realised that I gave it a title of Sunset and Sunrise which it actually was - Oh well it still seems to work. I can tell I'm getting old!

This is beautiful. Sunrise is always better than sunset. Good finish and amazing pp.

A very strong finish in a strong challenge. Nice image. I understand why your processing has come to be the way it looks here. Dont trust your laptop! Congratulations and the average is moving up nicely. You certainly have a nice view from close to your house and you should get out more often.

I know it's not that easy to do, but I feel this shot would be better still by the removal of foliage along the left edge of the frame. 8. Still one of my top 3 shots in the challenge.

Just perfect. The colors are beautiful, the sky is majestic and the lone tree just finishes it off. Well done

Good grief. That's just about the most perfect sunset. Not a fan of that orange stripe. LOVE the view. :)

You have a nice view by your house. But you must watch out for over-sharpening. Take a look at the tree, and you see all that white? That's due too too much sharpening.
