 I haven't entered in a very long time. Thanks to some encouragement from a student of mine I decided to heed my own advice and stop worrying so much about my entry being perfect. I had fun with this challenge...it made me think. I was inspired by the term "suspended animation." It made me think about that moment when you're swinging and you're at the apex and almost floating for just a moment before you come back down.

I've been using DPC as a teaching and learning tool in my classroom on a daily basis for the past four years--discussing photos, following tutorials, and generally getting inspired. (I guess that makes it especially ridiculous that I've only managed to enter four challenges...) Anyway, thank you all for the positive feedback :) I'm honored.

Glorious point of view! I can feel the swish of the air as she goes past, and at the same time, imagine the feel of being with her and enjoying that moment of weightlessness at the peak on each swing. Very strong composition, too. 10.

"Capture objects in the air." is the challenge description... I don't consider humans to be objects... soo... Not sure how to vote this so will be back later.

But... I love the image... just not for this challenge description.
