I actually love the concept of this shot It would have been more dramatic (i think) if you adjusted your POV
This is the kind of shot where as a photographer you gotta get in the dirt. If you shoot this image again try getting as low to the ground as possible and exploit the horizon line
See if there is a way to get some daylight between the bottom of the branches and the ground
Also, I would suggest you move to the left and compose the image (if possible) in a way that you can eliminate the distracting little tree.
The other thing to try is shooting the image in longer light ... I mean later in the day
Or maybe on a day where there is some drama in the sky... Clouds baby!!!
Just my thoughts BTW i think it should have scored better.
Keep shooting you have a good eye you just need to tweak the details

How does one say interesting and yet boring at the same time? I can't put my finger on why but, while it's boring, it's also interesting at the same time. Maybe, it's wondering what lays beyond that land line???? LOL I'm wondering if a higher saturation of colour or a complete B&W might have made this totally interesting? (Just commenting, not scoring) |
