| Jenn...is this a self-portrait? Is that you in the photo? I like the moodiness of this photo...the thoughtful pose of the person and the dimensional echoes of the pier squares. The focus appears a bit soft for my taste and the heavy frame feels claustrophobic in a photo that demands breathing space. Beautiful location! |

| I see, to submit a nice shot which ignores the topic is a good way to rack up comments :). ...when did you actually take this, Jennifer? (it says taken June 9 but uploaded June 5, hmm?). My shot of the same pier was uploaded on June 5 as well... so I wonder, we might have been at this pier on the same night! |

I don't think silhouettes have detail in them, do they? There's detail in all of this... so I dunno how to vote on this... will come back later.
Feel free to PM me with a contradiction of my possibly faulted understanding of "silhouette". |

| The texture in the supports and the water is beautiful. I wish she had been raven haired and wearing a darker top so this would have fit the challenge better. Not dinging you for that though, since the picture is really nice anyway. |

Nice high quality night shot, but I'm not seeing the silhouette in this.
it may just be my eyes, but the verticals seem to be slightly rotated to the left. |
