 Lunar eclipse in RSA 15 June 2011! Lucky me. It's the first time that I have used layers. What a struggle! I also took the pictures of the eclipse from about 4 different positions and numerous focal lengths, resulting in major tweaking of sizes etc. I know that they are not even or evenly spaced, but hey, WYSIWYG. I only have one camera, and changed lenses through the process to take other snaps as well. Next time.....

Lovely work Herman. Great result. I know all too well how hard this is. At least I used one camera and one lens on a tripod during the 4 hour shoot so when layering didn't have the troubles you did. Love that you got the stars in the background.

Jealous :) You managed to capture the lunar eclipse. I went out for it and just saw clouds. Nice editing, except (minor detail) moon 8.
