There's such a nice feeling to this landscape.

nice shot. i notice a few imperfections due to lens spots (in sky). i've had this problem, too. see this great tutorial on pre-processing before combining images into an HDR.

HDR batch retouching tutorial

it really helped my HDR.

Obvious use of a tripod, or any other long-term stabilization tool (1-10 *is not the score of the shot though*): 2
Unfortunately, just titling a photo HDR doesn't necessarily mean it was taken on a tripod. Some of the newer cameras now are able to reproduce a very wide DR. Couple this with tone-mapping software and you can get results such as yours. If you had found a part of this stream that had water movement and set up a long exposure focusing on that, then it would have been more obvious.

Beautiful start to a day. I like how the various lines lead us to the center of the image.

Obvious tripod use: For me, it's medium-low. I could easily see doing this HDR handheld with the available light.

Good image, technically. Two things I have issues with: The scene is just not all that interesting and seems like this could just as easily been shot hand-held. Still worth a 6 though. :)
