I really enjoy the grittiness of the face. Combine that with the shirt that looks like prison jumpsuit color, and a story starts to unfold.
Obvious tripod use: Very low. I'm not saying you didn't use a tripod, as this could very well be a self portrait, but there is absolutely no way of knowing that. With the bright lighting and definitely fast shutter speed (looking at the water), it's impossible to tell that a tripod is required. |

Obvious use of a tripod, or any other long-term stabilization tool (1-10 *is not the score of the shot though*): 2
It's obvious a fast shutter speed was used here due to the water droplets being suspended in animation. A more soft flowing water stream, while the subject holds his pose, would have been more convincing. |
