I very much like the details and lighting of this photo. But I'm not fully certain why the chicken is being cooked. I'm feeling it could use more backstory. |

Again, agree mostly with Kelli, and more to the point - if you intend to sell it on stock sites, be ready to upload a model release for your hand! To be honest I wouldn't shoot prep shots unless it were for a recipe book that may use step-by-step photos to guide the readers. |

This doesn't look convincing as a cooking shot. There's no sizzle or smoke as you're laying the chicken in what should be a hot pan. I'm not sure what your intentions are with these. If you're trying to sell them for stock you might want to clone out the residue from the sides of the pan, and the scratches from the bottom. |
