Dicovered this place entirely by accident while on a roadtrip.

Opened in ACR with Recovery on full bore, duplicated background layer, used Redynamix for HDR, a bit of burn in the clouds to try to reduce the halo, reduced opacity of the hdr layer, selective colour layer to increase the red and yellow, merged visible, resized, USM twice, saved for web.

The overcast day has certainly helped with an even and well balanced exposure. The POV is good. It must have just rained as the water is visible below the balustrade and this has helped improve tonal range and richness of the stone. I'm not fond of the sky, perhaps we are biased by DPC HDR land and cityscapes. As a record keeper it's good and has a fair chance of publication, however a pastor on the stairs greeting his congregation would certainly be more engaging and maybe get to home base.

Very good cover. I'm glad you chose a subject that many would be scared to tackle for this challenge.
