Well look at you with your 34th place... get down with your bad self! ;o) It's a great shot for the challenge, and probably should have placed higher... but not everyone has my perfect taste. LOL ;o) |

nice job - i like the simplicity of this shot although i find the rope on the bottom left side of the pier a little distracting |

There seems to be too much going on in this picture, too many conflicting lines, so the eye is not drawn to anything. The multiple borders just make matters worse. Less is more :) |

very geometric and well-framed. Perhaps a little too much in the mid-tones. Also the masts in the distance disrupt the image. |

i like this very much although would have scored it much higher without the framing, i think that it takes away from the vanishing point and the overall effect |

The border is a little excessive for my taste. |

I like the b&w, lets it seem less busy. Dont like the framing though. Maybe on white line instead of 2. Just seems like too much to me. |

Nice dock - good composition. Printing is effective with good whites, dark blacks and good tonal range. The border should be dumped into the sea. |

the border is a little overbearing, taking the focus off the image. still, good job of showing the anishing point. and nice colours. 7 |

Well done, good use of the boats to accentuate the vanishing point! |

Beautiful, great use of leading lines. |

There are too many foresails and spars. which detract from the vanishing point. Is the vanishing point of the dock clearerr in color? |

Fits the challenge well. The use of duo-tone is nice. I think your frame is a bit to heavy--it takes up space that could be used by the more interesting elements of the photo |

The only thing I can say about an awesome shot like this would be... PLEASE show me more (bigger) detail and less BORDER. |

I'm a fan of big borders, and get PO'd when people complain about a simple thick black border, but this is even too much for me. It draws attention away from the photo ( which is VERY strong). This photo is fantastic, but would've been GREAT if you had just gone for the inner part of the border (black/skinny white/black). |
