 John lives on the street. We got to chatting whilst he warmed up some food on a free BBQ in a park. I simply cannot get my head around how someone can be allowed to end up in a situation like John's, whilst living in such an affluent first world society.

Good portrait of this poor man.
If you hadn't already noticed we humans tend to think of ourselves first and if it involves loosing something we have, we are in the most part not willing to share. Until our society teaches us that happiness is not an individual matter instead of the contrary, this type of scene will unfortunately be a part of our lives.
