Thanks all for your votes and comments. I am very please to have broken the 6 mark for the first time.
I have one request though, for those 12 who voted in the 1's, 2's and 3's could you please comment on why you scored me down. I hope to improve my entries and this will help me learn.
Thank you. |

Great colors and I like the star effect on the lights. Perfect composition. |

I like the convergence of the plethora of lights into the vanishing sunset. |

Very similar to the one I submitted, although I have to say I do like yours a little better! |

A closer crop may work a bit better as the roadway is very interesting with the long exposure streaking of the car lights. The light currently as the top distracts ones eyes and keeps it away from the roadway. The exposure is perfect. "9" |

Wonderfully well done. I don't know how you metered, but the exposure is perfect. The "light stars" show you really stopped down - the lens flare doesn't hurt all all. A very strong ribbon contender. |

Normally I might have past this off for some reason or other. It is perhaps not my cup of tea but on 3rd look I finding myself drawn to it very much. The colors in this long exposure are are quite nice and you are either at or early morning, dusk so what you got is very nice and not over saturated. It is a very clean image. The repitition of the lights and the multiple lines of the lights of the traffic is not overly bright except for a very very small portion in the back. I assuming you used a filter of some sort and you obviously, if you did, made the right choice. Very well done and good luck! |

beautiful! everything about this shot is amazing. the crispness in the lgihts and the colors in the sky, the sharpness of the lamp posts, the sihlouttes of the trees, the rays of light... i could go on and on... 10 |

Nice light and composition. Perhaps a longer exposure would have more distinct lights from the traffic expecially on the left side? |

I like this idea. Wish the red lights in the left lane had showed up better. Maybe if you had wait a few more minutes for the sun to go down, but then I also like the color of the sky. 8 |

Nice, but I would have liked it even better if all the lights from the cars went all the way to the end. Seems like something is broken of with those lights starting/ending in the middle of the picture. |
