You asked for feedback and negative comments to help reconcile your score with the positive comments. I gave this a 5, based on the concept, mood, and intent that I saw you reaching for with the skull, color, and titile. Again, the composition is lacking a dynamic component to stimulate me and pull me in. It's just there. Red. Staring. Don posthumous described it perfectly, and Brian bvynoted what I felt as well.
Still life photography is very difficult in my opinion, practice the arrangement of objects to convey the emotion/story/etc. Practice with natural light and anything that will manipulate that light to enhance your end game. That is what this image is missing.
