this is beautiful. You really make this tree come alive. It just glows, shimmers, breathes!

Nice angle and composition, but seems a bit overexposed. It would havbe been nicer to have the canopy darker so you could bring out more detail in the bark. The black and white is a bit too grey also. Not enough tonal depth.

Interesting lighting with the high-key foreground and flatter background.

Good texture and interesting perspective.

Might have been better in full focus, rather than just a small part of the bark. Or if the bottom third or so had been in focus anyway. It just seems a little awkward to have a small portion of the middle in focus to my eye.

Great perspective and use of DOF. The lower right corner is a little bright to me.

Wow, did you lie on your back to take this or just do a back bend? Really great perspective and the texture of the bark is wonderful. I think your composition is perfect.

Your title is wrong. This is EverBlack&White. Your title suggests a color shot, and it should have been. It also needs focus. Only one little section of the tree is in focus. It also need to be lighter at the top and is almost blown out at the bottom. This would get a score of maybe 2 0r 3 from me. PTL

Neat shot! F-64 would have been nice here, but the camera do have their limits.

I don't know if it was possible but I would've like to see some more of the tree in focus. I still think its a really cool shot though.

Very nice texture. I really like the angle and framing/cropping you chose for this. The perspective is very nice. Great use of black and white. I wonder if you will get complaints about how this doesn't naturally appear in black and white. oh well, I supose if you were picky, but I'm not, so I like it. Good luck in the challenge.

The layout of this shot is great. I think I might have liked this one in color too. The greens would have looked great. great shot well done.
