 Used 60mm f2.8D with two 27.5mm tubes. I think this combo gave me about 2:1 magnification.

This image is not cropped. This is the 100% size that came out of the camera. Flash was on my new bracket close to the subject.

The object to the upper right is a paper clip. Both are laying on a brick patio.

This was hand held while I braced my arms on the ground.

Yep, 1:1 plus two 27mm tubes should be just under 2:1

Bummer you just missed the recent "Cents" challenge LOL. Nice little macro. The side lighting with shadows helps the textures a lot.
