 Made on my holiday on the wonderful Orkneys. Weather was mostly very foggy, one of the few days with good sight. These are old buildings which you can find everywhere on the Island.

I really like this image---especially the farmland out in the background. I do always prefer not so harsh shadows (as in the very right part of the building).

Excellent composition. You get the full length of the building and a sense of the view from the home even though you're facing the the building. There could be a mall in the view of the building now, but you've shown us a roaming farm land so the viewer can only imagine more of the same.

The clouds could have been a little more ideal, but hey, what can ya do? They still had good interest.

this could be a South African rural scene. Wonderful composition but I would have clipped more of foreground. Beautiful nonetheless
