 Photographer’s Notes
While I am semi-retired, I am as busy now as I have ever been. The difference is I can choose what to be busy at … and those whom I’m busy with have come to expect some eccentricities from me. At a meeting, I will often show up with my photography kit to shoot cityscapes from a high-rise, for example. I ride motorcycles, so I will often arrive in leathers, for example. I get to dress in “Venture Capital Casual” – jeans and a polo shirt is about as up as I dress for these sorts of things. I love being unpredictable!

In early August, I had a meeting at the French Bakery in Bellevue Washington. This is a new incarnation of one of my favorite coffee shops – Italian coffee + French pastry. What could be better? And it’s in a new modern building – all glass and steel. Might be fun to shoot. So, I bring my kit.

And here you are.

Wondeful and confusing set of lines with an apt title :)
Love the converging lines leading to a pattern on the wall. Nice an appropriate B/W conversion as well.
I'm thinking the camera is looking up at the roof?
