 This will be one of the last handful of IR image's I take with this old camera; I've got an IR converted D70 body on its way to me as I type :-)
Taken in my usual haphazard style, while driving. I do NOT look through the viewfinder, though, I swear! Basically just cropped it a bit, ran it through SEP2 to get the borders and take most of the color out, then put on the overlay below in both multiply and overlay mode. Resized overlay so dark bits didn't show and rotated a bit to get the grain in the direction I wanted.

This made me think of snow right away, how sometimes when it snows, it can feel cozy. The overlay worked very well. I had a DSC-F707, & wore it out. Loved it! I'm interested to see what IR images you make with the D70. I'm starting to get interested in IR.

the wind came by today
it swept away the tears
but also the good memories
leaving all the everythings flat
and still
and quiet

I just love what comes over me when I see your images. I can create a story within seconds, because of what I see. Thanks for that.

Funny, I shoot randomly while driving. Interesting to find out how many do that, I suspect a few. Great IR, reminds me of a holga. I like how the posts emerge after a while reinforcing motion. IR trees always make me think of Japanese spring blossoms.
