 Not your typical "Christmas Carol" lamp.

two softboxes on either side and an gold umbrella behind camera. Black backdrop, shade hung from fishing line, very cooperative model ;-) Very fun to do!!!

Anticipated comments/critiques:
-soft focus
-maybe better in a setting rather than a plain black background
-wrinkles on her ankle are distracting
-lampshade angle (front to back)
-model angle (leaning to the left)

She needs to be in some extreme heels! I also would have preferred a bit of context instead of a black background, though I understand that would have been much harder to hide the other half of the model that way.

Very unique and gutsy for a DPC entry. Nice idea! It appears a wee bit off in the sharpness dept, could have had a lot more seeing as it's a studio shot.

That is just a hoot. Not a fan of the pink border, but the floating lamp is hilarious. Remember A Christmas Story with the dad's prized leg lamp? ROFL
