 I suspected this image might not do well. Really liked the composition, but the colors were just so drab (browns and yellows), so tried to process some interest into it -- trying to give it a painterly feel that would be reminiscent of an old painting - relevant considering the challenge.

Hands were tied with this being a basic challenge, but I got a result approximating what I was looking for, but apparently was a failure in the eyes of the voters.

We live and learn!

I was just here about little more than a month ago...nice place isn't it...but I do wish they would work on that "brown" water....

I like the framing of this picture as well as the subject matter. However, the HDR is blown way out for my taste. I assume that this was taken in a fully sunny day with a lot of light, I'd really like to see you take this shot again on a cloudy day to allow a lot more contrast without blowing out the colors.

I like the idea, but the picture looks like HDR was used, and I think it takes away from the age of the structure.

Ok So I love this photo- its highly processed but it works well. Its stunning.... Im going to give it a 7 though- because I believe its a stretch for the theme. IMHO- but I really really love it-- alot LOL
