Almost the day after 3 challenges ended (Miniature, Macro, and Fee), a couple dragonflies flew up and took turns landing on a rubbery doll-toy my daughter had left on the front-porch rail. Inside of 5 minutes, I had three images that would have (IMHO) been decent entries for each of the challenges.

This is hilarious. It looks like it's about to *eat* Polly's head!! Personally I think the colors are great the way they are! It would be cool to see the whole dragonfly in focus from wingtip to wingtip.

Wow, a stunning shot... certainly different from the million other dragonfly shots out there (including mine!). I like this very much, and the cropping and composition work beautifully here by emphasising the fact that Polly has toppled over.

EEEK, I even hate to review this, because I cannot be entirely fair to you. I STRONGLY dislike photos with plastic toys, and have a difficult time evaluating them for any other good points. However, if that is a real dragonfly, it's quite a nice shot of him!

Should be renamed Jacko's first kiss :-p

Nice Shot

You can guess which one's him...

How on earth did you get this shot?

Might lighten the green in the background to give it a bit more contrast, but otherwise it's perfect.
