Great shot btw, and I agree crop a little on the left for symmetry.

Thanks for the suggestion. There was no restore point before the formatted date, unfortunate :(

excellent shot Raj! I would however crop some from the left to make it symmetrical, and then would be tempted to clone out the building too (not for DPC, it would be probably illegal, but in general :)).

Shame about the computer crash. Are you sure it is your hard drive? Because blue screen may be due to some other problem, like MB, and the disk still may be good?

Some SanDisk CF cards come with a recovery disk... RescuePro

I've had good results from the program.

Spectacular - perfect time of day, nicely pp'd.

Shame about the computer. But if you haven't reused your CF card, chances are pretty good you can recover the images.

Much better than my version from my visit. It can get pretty dirty on the surface.

The bean always makes a welcome subject for the photographer. Each photograph where she's in, is always a success (imho)

Just commenting - not voting: This is the best capture of this sculpture I have seen so far. This image is worthy of printing and hanging on your wall. Well done.

Cool pic of the skyline in the reflection. Pretty crisp. Nicely exposed.

Wonderful! Not just the reflection in The Bean, but the glimpses beyond it, too. The colours are gorgeous.

Very cool variation on the skyline concept. Looks like you stopped down quite a bit - the starry effect from the lights is quite nice.
Wondering if there's any way you could've used a normal lens instead of ultra-wide to capture the scene from a distance - just because the leaning building in the background feels like a mild distraction, the bean is distorting perspective enough already.

this sculpture is photographed quite often, but seldom with the reflection being the subject. A great photo that captures the imagination.

Nice
lovely control of saturation and hue.
I like the clarity of the reflection and the movement from the people.
Slightly of centre, but then again this is not too much of a fault. if itis indeed a fault. there seems to be a slight border to the sculpture, do not know if this is a proccessing fault or just a reflection. Good luck.
