Hop you enjoy it :-)

Yes, this is highly inspired from the following entry.
//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=862334

I did not want to reproduce exactly as it was and I wanted to bring more dynamism to it thanks to the diagonals.

I am new to high speed photography and this is my first assignment. Love to play with my Arduino setup to trigger the strobes and EOS. The possibilities are endless. Next tests will be with water balloons and other fun stuff :-)

Setup is prety easy:
- on the Arduino:
x one output to trigger one 430 EX
x one output to trigger my EOS 7D
x one input piezzo to capture sound
- one sheet of white paper on which the pen is put
- some mixed stuff to fix it all together
- one hammer

Post processing is easy as well, just a few clicks in Digital Photo Professional:
- reduce saturation a bit
- increase sharpness
- increase contrast
- tighten luminosity range
- improve overall highlights
- improve overall shadows

Not quite as sharp as Gyabans shot, would'nt think this was his again. But good try anyway.

You've taken an example in another challenge, a winner that was. Well, I hope your version will end up as high as the other entry, because you've done a very good job on this one.

Interesting angle. I know how difficult this shot is. With there was some more debris mid-air.
