Where would we be without them. Some of my personal favourites too. Where else would we get those fantastic seed heads when the flower's gone! |

Dito what Mary said. The shadow and stem meet at the bottom. I see a sort of metaphor for a fork in the road there. One way leads to beauty and light, the other to darkness and emptiness. |

Nice tones in the yellows and good detail for the petals. It may be considered to be a weed but is still a cheery yellow flower. |

It looks like it's floating on water - wild effect! They say flowers are just cultivated weeds so this works for me! :-D |

Love the way the dandelion pops out from the background - it looks disconnected, like it might be flying toward me. |
