 Couldn't get lens flare in other attempts -- decided to try to get it in a controlled environment.

The only thing I had was a dying flower.

Got a flare -- had the idea that perhaps it was the soul escaping the flower.

However, I think the commentor was right -- it looks more like a sneeze!!

Btw, It was done with a constant light source. Unfortunately, my constant light source was attached to a light box, so it made it challenging.

Lovely work. The flare adds to the image in the spirit of the challenge. It is neither a star burst flare nor an 5-6-7-8-9 sided aperture flare.

I'm not sure what it is about this image, but it sets me in mind of vawendy. Great image. There'd be a completely different appreciation of this image was the flare not there. Good construction.
