Thanks for the comments everyone. This is pretty much the colour of the dead Hydrangea, there is colour modification but only in tone. No desaturation, no greyscale.

You might be interested in my shot of the hydrangeas here. I love the way the petals dissolve away in the weather leaving only the structure behind. Lacey & delicate, yet strong. The natural sepia tones are gently fascinating to look at. These are little flowers, presenting many choices in composition. You have some fascinating conversations between shadows & details here in these 2 shots..
