 The exterior wall of a long-gone shop that manufactured formica-covered objects. It was one of my favorite things to photograph. Between the texture of the unpainted wood, the geometry of the air ducts, the rust, the fuse boxes, and the flowers, you couldn't take a bad picture. Alas. The building was razed about a year ago and the land is now a vacant lot surrounded by a chain link fence covered with tarps. No doubt it will become another wine tasting room (not that they are bad, but we have enough of them) or t-shirt shop. I'm glad I got this when I did.

Amazing texture. I have a soft spot for photos that depict nature reclaiming developed land.

I like this one a lot. The story is a reminder that we need to be shooting everyday things that we take for granted, because they can disappear so quickly.
