Interesting scene. It definitely brings to mind desolation. The tones are a bit flat, but the composition is nice. I think I might have preferred a slightly tighter vertical crop though. |

I think a polarizer would have helped this a lot, because the shadows are indistinct and the sky is too white. Nice composition. |

Good shot. I feel this may have worked better with an overcast sky or in B & W. DPz |

Blah blah blah rule of thirds blah blah blah. I'm guessing you're hearing some of that this week since the image is fairly divided in half in the top & bottom. It's an interesting subject. I might have considered cropping out the rock on the bottom right -- it seems just a little too dark compared to the rest of the features. |

On my monitor there doesn't seem to be enough detail because the forground is dark. Maybe less contrast would help. |

Definately naturally, untouched by man, but it's not too greatly exciting. Sorry. It is technically well done. lighting is good, and the angle and framing/cropping are good, and your focus seems good too. It just lacks that something to make it scream 'wow' to me. Good luck in the challenge. |

A tad too dark, a brighter day would have been a better choice I think. |
