I think this is just terrific. Can't believe it didn't score higher. I just ran across this. Truly a masterpiece - the lighting, composition, detail, color. All A-1 in my book.

a bit too overdone, the sky is starting to look like it was borrowed from another photo... nice colors btw

I like this picture a lot because of the atmosphere and colors. It brings back my memories from my childhood. (10)

This is pretty impressive.
I think a light rotation to the left to get the horizon level would have improved it.

I love it overall, but the light on the sunflowers looks fake, burned in OS or something, and doesn't match the real light there.

Pretty landscape, but does not meet challenge theme, imo. Sky looks a bit too blown out and sunflowers seem too dull.

the sky looks very unreal to me, it spoils an otherwise very attractive scene and image.

a bit too over-dodged and - burned for my taste

Beautiful location, but unfortunately over photoshopped picture.

This is a gorgeous photograph and I have given it a high score; however, I feel someone judging this photo would have to say it technically meets the challenge as a botany photograph because it has flowers rather than seeing botany as the central theme of the photo.

I find the went over the top with the sky. Looks way too artificial. Also, the sunflowers look so faded. I think a less heavy-handed approach to editing could have amde this shot more pleasant. As it now stands, they eyes are drawn to the blasted out highlights of the clouds. Gives the shot an aggressive feel. Consider re-editing this after the challenge.

This is good. It really doesnt look real, however. A little too unreal for me. The clouds in the sunset seem to be too sharp.

The burning in this image seems a bit overdone and also lacking in a few spots, like on the the left part of the image where the tree 'mates' with the roof of the building. This image just feels over processed.

I do like the contrast you are reaching for with this, but the changes in lighting between one spot and another are to drastic and sudden.

Superb scene - very "painterly." Somehow the work you did on the sky (dodging, burning?) looks very artifical. (If that's not the case feel free to PM me.)
Exposure on the ground area (buildings, flowers, etc) is perfect. Did you try a graduated ND filter? Strong entry.
