This is great. I love the sharpness, the texture, and the colors. When I saw it as a thumbnail, I could have sworn it was an alligator eye! Great job.

Very interesting! Almost prehistoric. Not sure but If it had just a bit more depth it would have made my top tier. Thanks for something unique. Good job.

Very nice textural study that you've captured well with interesting sweeping lines almost made into a pictorial element (eye). I would like to see a bit more space around the "eye" and a little more DOF (edges appear oof). Colors also appear a bit too processed and pushed almost unnatural. Lighting seems uneven and you could have possibly used some fill in the upper right to even things out.
