Another last minute switch out. I anticipate comments about the scratches and dust on the floor. I toned it down, but in the end, felt that it sort of represented the effects of dancing and don't bother me at all.

Goodness! Top 10. Bless you all for your kind words and comments. I wanted to try something where there was both a still and a moving element. To create the blur, I had to move the sequined skirt, but remain as steady as possible on the standing foot, as any movement there would have blurred IT. It's not perfectly still but I was out of time and had worked up quite a sweat. Lev, the idea was to evoke a "boleo" - a tango move where the back, free leg, is led into a "fan" shape. But the shutter was too slow, so I just tried moving a bit behind me. This was the shot that made the illusion look best.

How did you do it all, beats me. The skirt looking like an LP is fabulous.
How did I totally ignore to look at this challenge before the end is beyond me. But, better late than never.

I keep on playing with the location of the steady leg and push the image to the right of the screen. Perhaps with less space on the right it would look even more impressive.

I love the intensity of the steady leg, the veins, its amazing poise. And the floor without scratches would be a mistake. Great shot.
